HDS was founded in 2004 as a privately held and funded Corporation of Michigan, specializing in the commercialization of hybrid vehicle and renewable energy technologies. Operating from our facility in Troy, Michigan (USA), HDS offers complete product development assistance ranging from system specifications, failure mode analysis, simulation and software development, to component design, manufacturing, and testing support; including worldwide sourcing.

The HDS team has extensive knowledge and experience in designing and developing electric and hybrid vehicles in addition to advanced battery packs. We lead or supplement advanced product development efforts of our customers by providing flexible, cost-effective support for the entire product life cycle. From advanced lithium batteries, ultra-capacitors, inverters, motors, and fuel cells, to wind generators. HDS supports our customers to select the right technology solutions.

With flexible manufacturing and prototyping facilities, HDS can provide full vehicle build and integration, subsystem design and prototyping, system testing, and low-volume production.
